STEAMPUNK ART SHOW AT SWAINS VICTORIAN HOUSE

PLAINFIELD, NJ – “Steampunk Comes to Swains” art show will run through October 30 in the pink gingerbread Victorian in Plainfield. Organizer Christine Myshka dubs the exhibition “an exploration of the steampunk art movement and Victorian futurism as envisioned by an eclectic group of artists, illustrators, and graphic designers through painting, drawing and objet d’art.”
The opening reception is scheduled for October 4, 2014, 5 – 7 pm at Swain Galleries, 703 Watchung Ave, Plainfield, NJ 07060. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 9:30 am to 4 pm.
