I’M STILL AROUND JUST BUSY THIS WEEK
AMBER LOVE 16-AUG-2016 There are only a few days left before our annual SUPERHERO WEEKEND charity event at COMIC FUSIONOnline Bids End Aug 19 in Flemington, NJ. We have the guest artists lined up. We have the sketches. We have cosplayers coming. There may be a musician on Sunday.
Meanwhile, I’m spending a lot of time online trying to tweet and Instagram as much as possible on multiple accounts about the fundraiser. I’ll have my remaining stock of comics and copies of Cardiac Arrest. I don’t have much left and most of the comics I’ve worked on are out of print.
I’m still working on rescheduling podcast guests that had to be canceled previously. No news yet. I hope you were able to enjoy the last episodeEp 1618 which was the workshop I lead at a fan festival. Not the typical podcast, but there’s good dialog in there between all the people about what they’d like to see in characters.
Patreon backers have been offered an opportunity to read Full Body Manslaughter: Farrah Wethers Mystery book two, before anyone else. To become a Patreon backer, go to Patreon.com/amberunmasked and show your support for any amount beginning at $1/month.
In order to clear my head before editing Farrah Wethers book three, Miscarriage of Justice, I’ve started brainstorming a possible new novel. It’s another crime fiction, but not a Farrah Wethers book.
Last week and through the weekend, I celebrated my 44th birthday (Can that be correct?). We dined on delicious Indian food, traveled to Pennsylvania and had cocktails at a speakeasy, caught up with a friend I haven’t seen for years, and marathoned Murdoch Mysteries on Netflix.
I don’t know how many more weeks of physical therapy I need to go to, but going even twice a week is exhausting (and doing it at home).
Tomorrow is #BlackCatAppreciationDay! Check the hashtag on Instagram and Twitter tomorrow to see some beauties. You can see pics of my Gus almost every day — usually several a day. I have over 300 pictures of him on my phone not including the ones with Ollie. He’s certainly nothing like Caico.
