GARDEN STATE COMIC FEST

AMBER LOVE 25-JULY-2015 I’m so tired from a day at the best local comic con in New Jersey, the Garden State Comic Fest. Most of the shows I’ve been to in NJ have been disappointments (admittedly, I didn’t attend the new AC/BC in Atlantic City because it’s too far). In regards to pop culture shows that are close to me, I’ve been to: Chiller Theatre, Monster Mania, Asbury Park Comic Con, some tiny northern NJ comic book sales which aren’t really cons, our own Superhero Weekend at Comic Fusion, the Double Exposure gaming cons, Steampunk World’s Fair, and Exxxotica. My local scene was devoid of decent comic celebrations on a convention level until Garden State came around.
I have some notes from the two panels I saw today, but I’ll address those in other posts. I’ll also make a better recap post later. I’m too tired at the moment. What I wanted to do right away was upload the over 100 photos I took (mostly cosplay) so that people can find them and save them.
